How to keep the cover of my heated cushion in good condition?

You'll naturally want to keep the cover of your Myheate infrared heated cushion looking as good as new for as long as possible. Yet, your cushion will likely be used intensively, whether it's on the couch, on the terrace, at your home office, or even on the go. Fortunately, you can easily maintain the cleanliness of your infrared heated cushion's cover.

Keeping a heated cushion with a removable cover clean

Each Myheate heated cushion comes with both an inner and an outer cover. The outer cover can be made of cotton, velvet, knitted material, or wool. The covers are machine washable, but it is important to follow certain guidelines to ensure the cover remains in good condition for a long time. If you decide to hand wash or machine clean the cover of your heated cushion, it's also crucial to remove the battery from the Myheate label beforehand.

Inner and Outer Cover: Your Myheate heated cushion with infrared technology includes an inner cover and an outer cover. The inner cover is not washable as it protects the infrared heating element inside the cushion. Always leave this cover in place.

Machine Wash or Hand Wash Up to 30°C: You can keep your Myheate cushion cover looking great by washing it in the machine or by hand. Wash the cover at a maximum temperature of 30°C. If you've chosen a Myheate cushion made of wool, prefer a fine fabric detergent for both hand and machine wash.

Do not use bleach: Always use a detergent for delicate fabrics without bleach to avoid damaging or discoloring the material.

Do not iron or tumble dry the cushion cover: After washing, the best way to dry the cover of your heated cushion is to lay it flat, perhaps on a towel. Do not iron the cover of your Myheate infrared heated cushion as heat can damage the material. The cushion cover should also not be placed in the dryer as the temperatures are often too high and could cause the fabric to shrink or become damaged.

Do not dry clean: Avoid taking the cushion cover to the dry cleaners. Chemical cleaning often involves high temperatures that the fabric cannot withstand, which may lead to damage, discoloration, or even scorching.
